Friday 10th May - walk **** – Around Felixstowe including a snack on the beach with Maeva – sunny and warm.

The spell of lovely weather continues, although I had missed sunrise by an hour I decided to drive down to Felixstowe Ferry around 6.30 as the breeze was very light and I hoped to get some boat reflections on the Deben. Once again I was not disappointed and got some nice pics, one of which was featured on Chris Pages weather report on About Anglia :) Then home to sort out my photos, have breakfast and I had time to do about half of my exercises before we had to set off to pick up Maeva who we were having for the day. This is Maevas sleep time and she was soon fast asleep in her buggy as we took a route down to the Lidl nearest our house ending up on the prom with the sea as flat as a pancake with very little breeze, shame really as it was the start of the North Sea Race with loads of racing yahts about a mile off the Manor making very slow progress up the coast! We walked around the new beach hut village which sadly seems a waste of money with very few being sold but I did get a pic I took chosen as a BBC Editers Pick, it did not make it on Look East this evening, perhaps it will get onn the late show but I am not holding my breath s I don’t have much success with the BBC these days:( Then we ambled past the peir and meet some old friends at the kiosk at the bottom of Bent Hill stopping for a chat. With Maeva now coming around we found a lovely spot on the beach for a cuppa and snack having loads of fun with some pebbles and shells. Maeva loved it apart from when I dipped her toes in the sea! Then home for lunch, beans with grated cheese with toast one of her favourites, well feed she played lovely before having a doze onn Mag while our other son rang for an hour while Arlo played o the park after school. Some another top day and there is a good chance of seeing th northern lights again so will check out the Ferry when it gets dark but an not holding my breath as its looking fairly cloudy:(
